I must say, I've been really enjoying 'One Love - U2 and Mary J. Blige.'

I've always loved that song, before it was remade, but this version kicks some major ass. That woman has some powerful vocal chords, seriously :D

GCSE's are looming ever closer, and I really have to get my act together. I mean, I can and want to pass all of the exams, but I just can't get my head down. Major studying tomorrow then.

In other news, my newest flash 'Zelda: Sailing Sucks!' got FrontPage on Newgrounds. Nice honour. The irony is that he doesnt even sail in the movie :D

Me, and Wii

Well. Well well well.

Big ol' Nintendo has given the console formly known as the 'Nintendo Revolution' a name. And that name is Wii.

Wii.

When this was announced, the internet exploded. Into three large groups:

Those who hate the name;

Those who love the name;

Those who don't really care.

I'm part of the first group. I think the name is excellent. It's simple, and is straight to the point. Wii. No crazy ass number or anything that twists the old tongue. Just Wii. Only really sad people will start being like 'omg look at my Wii! lolz' and those jokes will die down eventually anyway. It represents what the new console is all about.

Wii: 'we'. Us. Unity. Playing together.

Wii: Simple to say. The console is trying to have the most simple interface to attract new gamers.

Wii: The two 'i''s look like the remote, and two little people playing. Togetherness ftw.

It's less than 2 weeks until the big day of Nintendo's E3 Conference, and this complete surge of press (albeit mostly negative...) has done what Nintendo wanted. Its got peoples eyes set on them , for good or bad, for E3. Think about it, it's the strongest position to be in. They're going to blow us all away with Wii. And I can't wait, and welcome it with open arms.

Together, Wii will cheer.
